COVID-19 Protocols

MWS is working hard to ensure that we provide a safe and healthy environment for our children, families, teachers, and administrative staff. We are carefully following requirements and guidelines set by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, in many cases going above and beyond what we are required to do. Here are some of the steps we are taking to reduce COVID exposure:

• smaller class sizes, with no mixing of teachers or groups

• face coverings are required for adults and are recommended and encouraged for children

• social distancing is maintained to the extent possible

• increased frequency of hand washing

• limited sharing of toys and equipment within groups; sanitizing and disinfecting occurs between groups

• mandatory health screening completed by all families and staff each day prior to program entry

• continuous monitoring of children’s and staff members’ health each day

While we are committed to keeping MWS as safe and healthy as possible, we are also dedicated to making sure that our students are in a happy, warm, and caring educational environment while at school. Their face coverings may hide their smiles from view, but we can see in their eyes and hear in their voices that they are happy and enjoying their days at school!
