Taking Care of Our Teeth

February was Dental Health Month, so we were pleased to welcome Dr. Katie McCafferty, local pediatric dentist (and MWS parent!) to teach the children how to keep our teeth healthy. Dr. McCafferty read a story about the Tooth Fairy, and demonstrated good tooth brushing technique with an oversized toothbrush and set of teeth. She then let the children try it out with an alligator puppet. The children also learned about foods that are good for their teeth—and foods that are not! We are so glad that Dr. McCafferty made learning about going to the dentist a fun experience!
