Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is always a fun day in the Pre-K classroom. In addition to talking about love and kindness, I like to use this day as an opportunity to talk about friendship and what it means to be a good friend. The children get so excited making valentines for their family and friends. It is so heart-warming to hear them chat away as they create and personalize each one.

The weather was unseasonably warm during the days leading up to vacation. We spent a good deal of time playing outside with our friends from the Yellow Class. We also did a fun shaving cream painting project and spent time playing some of our favorite board games.

I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing vacation. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone next week!
