This week we had a special visitor from a parent who is a local pediatric dentist. She talked with us about the importance of tooth brushing and flossing. She played a game with the children about foods that are healthy for our teeth and unhealthy for our teeth.

We read a lot of great books about the dentist and the tooth fairy. We even painted with toothbrushes!

The children had lots of time on the playground, and we had a fire drill.

We also worked on our original works by painting and drawing a picture of ourselves. We hope that parents love these self portraits—they’re going to be a surprise!
