We have been talking this week about Valentine’s Day, with most of the conversation explaining that Valentine’s Day is a wonderful day to say “I love you” to their parents and family. And hearts are a way to say ‘I love you.’ The children have been busy making projects with hearts, coloring hearts, cutting hearts, and playing with toys that have hearts. The children enjoy reciting our heart poem which went home in their Orange Folders. The Valentine Bags with special cards will go home on Monday (Tuesday for the children who are not in school on Monday). They are excited to give their parents the special Valentine’s they have made at school. Some of the seasonal activities are pictured below:
