Footprints in the Snow
Hello Red Class Families,
Welcome to 2024! Over the past few weeks, we have been learning about snow and animals in the snow. We spent a week on penguins. We made a polar bear art. We also hibernated a brown bear in his den.
While on a winter walk around the school, we saw bunny tracks in the snow. We listened to our footprints in the snow. We talked about how trees go to sleep in winter. We used our magnifying glass to look at snow; we had a conversation about how all flakes are unique and how no two snowflakes are alike. We also stopped walking, took a moment to enjoy the snow, and made snow angels.
Over the past few weeks, we learned the letters B, D and T. During our B week week, we made biscuits and ate it with butter.
