Fall Fun

The last couple of weeks were very busy. We carved pumpkins and painted pumpkins by pouring paint and using glitter. We painted with acorns and mini gourds. We drew with paint markers and crayons. We practiced writing our names, drawing a person and drawing a house. we practiced using scissors. We danced and learned some new songs and poems. We played with pumpkin slime and spiders. We played with pumpkin puzzles and made Green monsters out of playdough after reading the Go Away Big Green Monster. The children read Brown Bear Brown Bear to the teacher as the teacher turned the pages. We had music with Mrs. Wada using rhythm sticks and egg shakers. We sang” Do you know the pumpkin man?” In the Big Room we played bean bag toss and jumped off the large waffle blocks, We climbed the updown go through and went in the tunnel. we also played with balls and big trucks and cars. In dramatic play we pretended to go camping, cooked on the grill, ate spiders and played with puppets in the loft. We read lots of books. Most importantly We celebrated Charlie’s 3rd birthday. Charlie loves puzzles and trucks so that’s what we played with. We had Birthday Bunnies for snack. we read birthday Monster and Peppa Pigs George gets a Dinosaur.

We baked pumpkin cookies and everyone got to take them home.
