Flying By…

Hello Red Class Families,

It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is this week! Fall is zooming by! Since my last post, we have learned letters C, P and O. We took a walk outside and read “There Was An Old Woman Who Swallowed Some Leaves”. Here are some classroom pictures from our pumpkin week.

We did some cooking and baked chocolate chip cookies for snack. That was a tasty way to learn about the letter C.

I introduced a new concept: bubble space. We learned that we all have an invisible bubble around us. Sometimes we can feel uncomfortable or mad if our bubble is popped by a friend. If someone is building blocks on the rug and a friend pops our bubble, our block tower could fall. Sometimes we need to remind a friend that we need space in a gentle way.

Here are some additional classroom photos:

I love the creativity I have been seeing in the Big Room!

Until next time…

Mrs. Chen
