Happy Holidays

We have been busy the last couple of weeks preparing for the holidays ahead. The children worked hard making a gift for you along with their card and wrapping paper. We hope that you enjoy them!

We have been working each week on a different letter. Our alphabet books are getting thicker! Here is the letter K. Letter K is for king.

This wooden marble run was a favorite this past week. The STEM that happened during this play was amazing. We loved how the children worked together to create many different set ups.

Sometimes snack just starts the creative thinking going…

The fun continues in the Big Room…

The artwork in this classroom continues to amaze us. We love the daily fashion also :). This artwork includes Elf On A Shelf and Pokemon.

We often put out tape, scissors, staplers, markers or crayons with paper after lunch.

The children creatively use so many of the manipulatives that we put on the tables each morning. They really loved making these designs!

We read an abundance of gingerbread stories these past weeks. We finished our gingerbread house and we baked a large gingerbread cookie. Ask your child what happened to the cookie after we took it out of the oven?? Here is a hint….we decided to cut off his legs first to keep him in one place!

We talked about who liked the taste of gingerbread and charted it on our chart. The names in the middle are the children who “kind of liked it”.

We would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday and a very happy New Year. We hope that you enjoy this time away from school with your families. Thank you again for sharing your children with us. They truly are the real gifts in life!
