Happy Thanksgiving!

The Yellow Class has spent the past few weeks talking about Thanksgiving. We introduced the holiday by talking about gratitude and listing some of the things for which we are grateful. Last week we talked about the actual feast and the idea of coming together with family and friends for a celebratory meal. We asked everyone how their family celebrates Thanksgiving, One of my favorite answers was, “That’s the day when you eat in the dining room.” (Have I mentioned how much I love this age?)

On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we came together with the Red Class to have our own feast. We made turkey hats to wear and ate cornbread, popcorn, fruit and craisins.

We also celebrated two birthdays this fall. Marcus in November and Henry in October. Happy Birthday!

This month flew by, as it always seems to do! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we would like to say how grateful we are for your children. Thank you for allowing us to spend time with them. We hope you have a wonderful holiday!
