First Day of School

We’re off to a busy start of the New School Year. Today (and the first few days next week) our class is combining with the Green Class, the other preschool class that is next to our classroom. It was a great day for all of the preschool children to get to know each other. After everyone, including the new teachers, settle in, the two preschool classes will be in their own rooms and will spend time together in the Big Room and the playground. I know that some children go home and talk a lot about their time in school and some say very little (or nothing). Listed below are some ‘Conversation Starters’, along with answers, to help you and your child talk about their first day at school. Some of the children stayed for lunch or Extended Day. Hopefully, they will tell you about those times.

Our returning students already know the classroom routine and the new children will learn it very quickly; they settled in so well today it was hard to tell that it was their first day.
