Happy Valentine’s Day
Here’s to watching friendships bloom!
We have spent a lot of time indoors thanks to the weather but the children had a wonderful time just hanging out with each other. We love hearing their conversations and its truly heartwarming to see their friendships develop. We get laughter and drama and just pure fun as the children create their games seemingly out of nothing….they just are together and it makes me grateful for these moments.
I hope you liked the Valentines the children made and I am sure they enjoyed opening their valentine bags, hopefully at home.
Observing the egg. We placed this egg in water and we would check it daily to see if it hatched. What could be inside it? The guesses ranged from dinosaurs to bunnies. The children wanted to break the egg right away and see what emerged but they had to wait. Waiting for this egg to hatch was a good exercise in patience. Everyday the children would observe how the egg changes and they would notice the smallest details. Finally what emerged was our penguin.
We celebrated the Lunar New Year. It is the Year of the Snake.
Here are some of the things from the past few weeks.
Have a fun filled winter break!
