Rainbow Fish

Our small but mighty group in the Orange Classroom was busy this week enjoying a week with Rainbow Fish. Are you familiar with Rainbow Fish and the associated books? The children enjoy the books and activities every year.

Rainbow Fish and Nemo visited our Circle.

Lots of books.

Many fish puzzles.

Fish and glass stones.

Rainbow Fish and friends felt.

Fish and water play.

Many fish decorate our bulletin board.

On Friday we played Bingo. However, instead of explaining the concept of filling in a row or column, we had the children fill in their entire card. Each card had the same pictures, just in a different order. It was exciting when everyone just happened to finish their cards at the same time and all the children got to shout 'Bingo' together.

Another new activity for our class involved bean bags. We listened to 2 different songs and followed the instructions given. It was a lot of fun. Now that these songs have been introduced to our small but mighty group, we will continue to do these bean bag activities as our school friends return.
