Happy Halloween!

We have had a busy few weeks with Back to School Night and Halloween occurring close together. Thank you to all who came to Back to School Night. We had a great turnout. Here are the self-portraits that the children made. I was going to send them home with families that evening, but they turned out so cute that I decided to keep them to display in the room. I will send them home soon!

After Back to School Night we dove head first into Halloween activities: Jack-O-Lantern dance in Music class, glitter painting pumpkins, designing monsters, sensory play with beans and pumpkin eggs, and reading Halloween stories.

It has been a wonderful two weeks of fun, but I must admit, I am looking forward to the extra hour of sleep this weekend!
