Ending a Wonderful Year

Here we are…at the end of our school year together. It is unbelievable to us how fast a school year goes. It seems like we were just meeting your children for the first time and now we are saying goodbye.

We have ended the school year with so many enjoyable activities with still one week to go!

Ethan’s birthday was celebrated last month. Hannah, Feride and Emmett’s summer birthdays were celebrated this month. We also celebrated Karla’s birthday since we missed it last November when she was not with us yet.

We made an adorable farm bulletin board for our classroom. The children loved putting it together.

We went on an exciting trip to Wilson’s Farm where we learned all about how fruits and vegetables are grown and cared for. The children were attentive participants. We were so proud to be with them.

Here is an example of the type of creative play that we observed in our classroom all year long. The children continue to amaze us.

We had goats come visit us from Chip-In Farm in Bedford, MA. This was definitely a highlight of our year! The children had the opportunity to pet the goats and interact with them. They were adorable! Their names were Willie Wonka, Charlie, Nuttie Buddy and Cowboy. You can visit the goats this summer at the farm to meet them.

We truly did fall in love with your children from September to June. The hardest part of our job is to now say goodbye to them. The growth we observed in all of them is the reason that we teach. This class in particular continues to amaze us with their creativity and originality. They truly are special in that way. Whatever we put out on the table and rug, they found a way to make it amazing.

If your child is leaving us, please come back and visit us. We love returning alumni! Please keep in touch…

Have a restful and safe summer together…

Jan and Maggie
