Corduroy and Rainbows

What do Corduroy and rainbows have in common? They both bring on smiles. This week the children enjoyed meeting Corduroy. On Monday, the children sewed a pocket like the one Corduroy’s and gave him pockets and buttons on Wednesday. And you guessed correctly if you said our Circle Time visitor this week was non other than Corduroy.

The rest of the week was devoted to rainbows and green. The children made beautiful painted rainbows by looking at a sample and working individually with a teacher. Without any distractions, it was amazing to see how they were able to produce their own with only verbal directions along with the sample.
